Board of Directors

The Alumni Association Board of Directors sets the visions and goals; thereby supporting its mission to provide ongoing alumni engagement opportunities.  The Board of Directors works closely with the Office of Alumni Relations to foster an active and involved community of alumni.

  • Margaret Crenshaw '85 (SPA) - President & Director of Class Reps

    Margaret Crenshaw is a Realtor with The Kiser Jetton Team at eXp Realty and a 50-year islander. She is on the Board of Directors for the island’s newest community theatre, Sea Glass Stage Company, and is a contributing writer for CH2 Magazine, and Co-Host of the “Eat It And Like It” podcast “Mondays with Maggie”. She is a Hilton Head Prep Alumni Past President, Vice President and is currently in her 20th year as a board member. Margaret has one daughter, Ellery Margaret Newcomer-Crenshaw ‘15.

  • Addison (Goss) Cook '06

    Addison graduated from Hilton Head Prep as a Lifer in 2006.  After graduation from Prep she attended the University of Georgia where she received her B.A. in Marketing in 2010.   Addison married Andrew Cook in 2014 and they have two beautiful boys, Harris '34 and Alden '38.  Addison is the former Membership Director at the SCYC.

  • Andrew Hazel '06 - Special Events Co-Chair

    A lifer at Hilton Head Prep, Andrew credits much of his success to his foundation provided during those 12 years. The lessons he learned in the classroom and as a four-year letterman on the Tennis and Cross Country teams not only instilled a love of Prep in his life, but taught him the importance of giving back to the community. When he moved back to Hilton Head Island after studying engineering at Maryville College, Andrew began giving back to Hilton Head Prep. He became involved in many Prep activities, and wears a Prep logo on his shirt proudly around the Island. He and the members of Cranford Hollow have donated a free concert to the Jubilee auction six times, played at the Back to School Bash, and played along with students at the Prep Strings Concert. He is involved in many non-profit organizations on the Island including NAMI, Friends of Caroline Hospice, Hilton Head Humane Association, and The Island Rec Center. Most recently, he helped raise money for Hurricane Matthew disaster relief. Andrew lives on Hilton Head Island with his wife, Samantha, and their son, William, a future Prep dolphin.

  • Andrew Kolb '00 - Special Events Co-Chair

    Andrew graduated from Prep in 2000 and attended the  University of South Carolina  After graduating from USC, \he came back to Hilton Head and began his business career with The Melrose Company. Andrew married Leigh (Hopper) Kolb '06 in 2011.  In 2016 they welcomed son Henry, who is now a 2nd grader at Prep.

  • Catherine Scarminach Lewallen '95

    Catherine is an “HHP Lifer” and a 1995 graduate of Hilton Head Prep.  She is an attorney with Novit & Scarminach, P.A., with a primary focus on estate planning and probate and residential real estate.  Catherine is also a current member of the Board of Trustees of Hilton Head Prep. She has previously served on the board of Hospice Care of the Low Country and Hilton Head Dance Theater, and as a member of the Development and Donor Services Committee for the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry. 
    Catherine received a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University and Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.  She lives in Bluffton with her husband, Jon, and two children, Bill (’32) and Sam (’35).

  • Nancy Fish '83 (SPA)

    Nancy is the Executive Director of The Sandbox Children’s Museum.  She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Dartmouth College, her Pre-Primary Montessori training from the New England Montessori Teacher Education Center, and an M.Ed in Curriculum and Supervision from Lesley University. Nancy has had a life-long career in Educational Administration in Atlanta, and Boston. Most recently she was the Head of School of Walnut Park Montessori in Newton, Ma. She returned home to Hilton Head several years ago to continue her goal of advocating for hands-on interactive learning. In addition to this group, Nancy also volunteers on the council for WAHHI, serves as an alumni interviewer for her alma mater Dartmouth, and sits on the Association of Children’s Museum conference committee. Nancy lives here on the island with 3 of her 4 children. In her spare time you can find her watching her daughter on the lacrosse field or relaxing on the beach.

  • Laird Dorsner '00

    Laird graduated from Prep in 2000 and attended The University of South Carolina. After graduating from USC he moved back to the island. He is married to Kim (Morrison) Dorsner and they have a son David. He was a letterman in football, basketball and golf. Laird works in sales for Gaddis Engineering Solutions company and does business across the globe. He is a volunteer coach for the Island Red Center.  He also is a member OF Hilton Head Sigma Chi alumni chapter.

  • Keylan Hanna ‘15

    Keylan grew up on Tupelo Road and was able to walk to Hilton Head  Prep.  He competed in football and soccer, attended Intel’s International Science and Engineering Fair and played cello in the school orchestra.  His mother, Krista, has been a teacher at Prep for over a decade, and his sister, Brittany ‘20 was an “HHP Lifer”.

    After graduating in 2015, Keylan attended the University of South Carolina and received a degree in Visual Communications and Marketing.  He has since returned to Hilton Head and runs a successful photography and videography company.  He attributes much of his success to the wonderful foundation that his teachers provided him while attending Hilton Head Prep.

    Keylan continues to work with Prep regularly and provides media services for Prep’s marketing, performing arts, and graduation ceremonies.

  • Meg (Coleman) Hawkins '98

    Meg, an HHP lifer, graduated from Hilton Head Prep in 1998.  She and her husband, Zeno, have three children that attend Prep.  Berkeley '27, Victoria '30, and Hank '32.

  • Meghan Brown Gregory '09

    Meghan Brown Gregory graduated from Prep in 2009 and went on to Clemson, finishing her degree in 2013. After spending 10 years in New Orleans, she moved back to Hilton Head in 2024 with her husband, Heath, and their two cats to be closer to family, including her sisters, Mackenzie (’12) and Riley (’15). She is currently the Director of Finance at Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park.
