Hilton Head Preparatory School's Center for Global Education Debuts NYC: Wall Street Experience
The Hilton Head Prep Center for Global Education added an exciting new destination to its expanding portfolio last week with the launch of its inaugural New York City: Wall Street Experience. Sixteen junior and senior students spent five action-packed days in the city during Heritage Break, guided by the Institute for Business & Innovation, Atlas Workshop, and an incredible lineup of corporate partners.
The immersive itinerary included a deep dive into the heart of global finance—beginning with a walking tour of the Financial District and a rare, behind-the-scenes visit to the New York Stock Exchange. Students had the invaluable opportunity to engage in conversations with senior executives and rising analysts at firms such as Goldman Sachs, Cantor Fitzgerald, Cisco, Bank of America, Rockefeller Capital, and TD Bank/Cowan.
Between business visits, the group soaked up New York’s vibrant culture—sampling local cuisine, shopping in SoHo, Chelsea, and along 5th Avenue, and taking in powerful landmarks like the 9/11 Memorial and the High Line. The week wrapped with a night on Broadway to see The Outsiders.
A huge thank you to everyone who made this transformative experience possible, especially Jeff Rehling and Joe LaValley for their outstanding leadership. The insights, connections, and unforgettable moments shared throughout the week offered students a truly priceless blend of education, inspiration, and team bonding.
