Hilton Head Preparatory School Celebrates 60 Years of Excellence and Growth
Hilton Head Preparatory School proudly announces the celebration of its 60th anniversary, marking six decades of academic excellence, community engagement, and a tradition of preparing students for success in college and life.
Founded in 1965, Hilton Head Prep has grown into the Lowcountry’s premier independent school. In 2024, Prep merged with Sea Pines Montessori Academy, uniting two long-standing island institutions. Together, they now serve students from 15 months through 12th grade, creating a seamless educational journey that blends Montessori foundations with Prep’s rigorous college-preparatory program.
As part of the anniversary celebration, the school will host a series of events throughout the year, including student activities, school events, and alumni gatherings.
Hilton Head Prep invites alumni, families, and the Hilton Head community to join in celebrating 60 years of tradition, innovation, and educational excellence.
